Osceola County Engineer

Osceola County is currently hiring for its County Engineer position.

Osceola County is located in Northwest Iowa, adjacent to the Iowa Great Lakes Area and near Sioux Falls, SD.

The engineer plans, coordinates, assigns, and supervises all engineering work and construction work performed by the secondary roads department. The engineer also prepares and lets contract documents for projects and prepares an annual budget and manages office staff.

The role requires good communications skills and the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with county personnel, contractors, vendors, and the general public.

The position of Engineer requires an Iowa licensed professional engineer. Salary range is $90,000 to $120,000 depending on qualifications and experience. An excellent benefit package includes health insurance, IPERS retirement plan, and paid time off.
