On July 18th from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at McCallum Museum Peter Wagner, local train historian and publisher of the NW Iowa Review and Sibley Gazette Tribune, will talk about the Rock Island Line an East/West train line that served Sibley, Melvin, Ocheyedan and other towns.

On July 25th from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at McCallum Museum Dennis Jurgens, local train historian and member of the Otter Valley RR line, will talk about the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha line which ran from Chicago to Minneapolis and through other towns including Sibley to Omaha. These talks are a fundraiser for McCallum Museum’s newest edition, The Farm Shed, a building
to house farm equipment and all items relating to agriculture in Osceola County. Refreshments following talk.
